U13 Green Division
AFC Corsham 3 Derry Hill 1
A first League win of the season for the team and a very well deserved 3 points. Following on from last weeks 8 goal thriller, the team played some great football and went two up through Alexander and James with his first goal for the Club. Corsham were then unable to add to their score though dominating the play. Sloppy defending from a rare Derry Hill break away led to a goal and set up a tense last 10 minutes, but Harvey calmed the nerves with a well taken finish into the top left hand corner of the net. Credit to the Derry Hill keeper who had an excellent match. Corsham face Warminster Highbury at home next week.
